Kenworth K100 Club

HomeA Website for Pre-1985 Kenworth Cabover TrucksNov 26, 2008
A group founded for owners and enthusiasts of the classic round headlight Kenworth K100C Aerodyne and K100C flat top cabover semi-trucks. This club was founded to support and highlight the restoration and preservation of original trucks, not highly modified or customized show trucks.

The aim of this group is to:

- Create a database of original factory brochures & information
- Follow the progress of members restoration projects
- Provide a truck and parts wanted/for sale section
- Showcase K100C truck photographs
- Share information
- Arrange club events for members to meet and display their Kenworth K100C trucks

To help you navigate around the site, if you click on the icons within the 'This way to everything K100....' box below, or select the 'Photos' option listed above this note you will see the summary of albums to view. Here you will find:

The Kenworth K100 Brochure & Literature Collection - This contains a comprehensive collection of factory sales literature from 1964 to 1984

The Kenworth K100 Magazine Features, Roadtests and Advertisements - This contains K100C-related articles published throughout the years. Of particular interest are the original road test articles.

The Kenworth K100 Paint Schemes and Colour Code Manual - This contains factory drawings of paint schemes that were offered as standard, colour descriptions, paint codes and sample colour chips.

The Shop Manual - Here you can find wiring, air line diagrams and other technical information for the K100 series trucks.

To view the full-sized and high resolution photo album images, select the 'Slideshow' option and skip back, forward, play or pause as required.

Next, you will find albums created by Kenworth K100 Club members of their own trucks. These vary from unrestored originals, trucks currently undergoing restoration, from working trucks to show trucks. From flat tops to Aerodynes, there's something for everyone. If you do own a round headlight K100C, you are invited to create an album and share your story and pictures here on the site.

Further down you will find albums containing period photographs of our favorite cabover.
Under the 'Blog' option, you will find the 'K100 Trucks And Parts Wanted/For Sale Section' and the 'Technical Q &A' sections.

Items are added regularly to the albums so check back often to see the new postings. All in all, this site offers a wealth of information for the enthusiast, owner and especially as a historical & restoration reference source.

You don't have to be a K100 owner to join - just share the passion for the most fabulous cabover semi-truck produced !

I have a 1978 K100 pretty much ALL original, I still drive it as a toy hauler but would like to find someone who'd like to fix er' up. What are these K100's valued at ? It has the big cam 350 and 10 sp trans. It spent most of its life hauling grain to the elevator and currently has 122,600 original miles. It fires up and drives beautifully.

I have an 84 cab over Kenworth. How much is the dash that is on here? What kind of shape is it in? And will you ship it?

Just as a reminder if you need parts for your K-100 I still have some parts left. You can see what I have left on page 3 of the photos. Thanks.

Just Posted - Let's start the new year with some technical additions to The Shop Manual section......Steering column panel circuit breaker layout.
Should be useful - details breaker amperage, circuit and wire numbers. There will be some differences in physical location between some trucks though tracing via wire colour & number should get you out of trouble.
Paul.
